here are some pics of the GoNowhere Fest that took place this weekend. We played on SAT 12/18th amongst some really great peeps...was bummed to miss my fav jjcn whom played fri the night before .but i was able to catch these acts:elders/becky lee band/AcornBcorn/Lengas Largas/etc. Acorn Bcorn are a 2 piece sister act with killer dynamic & was one of the best girl geetar players/singers ive seen (we hope to play foxfest 2 or some kinda show with them in the future)..... Elders noise was sweet heavy soul sucking honey...becky lee was soulful voice mixed with straight up rock and a lil atmospheric noise type action that i dug towards the end of one of their songs. Lengas largas closed the night with Mark Beef (the maker of the fest) strummin in the corner on the geetar.. 2 drummers pounding their drum toys hard and amazing in coinciding motion....and the rest of the members adding powerful noise strums to fill up the room . .. lengas's dick googled the F out of those drums (inside joke)...the room was crowded with all the bands done playin for the night...there to watch lengas close the evening with total badassness....and AND yes AND there was a goddamn parade there that night making it impossible to park, yet it was funny and random and worth the fandagling of instrument hauling and car spot swooping...for it was a spectacular time...thank you tucson/ and all thee bandz for being so kind and fun. much love to all that were there.
