David Bowie Exhibit
220 E Chicago Ave, Chicago, IL 60611

Fantastic. An overwhelming amount of information.
Kind of crowded, but if you can frogger around...its doable.
It shows various stages of his life..costumes..
displays are kaleidoscopic and wonderful. music/vids/
art...just a tons of visual awesomeness.
I liked his SNL pink poodle costume...the tie on his blue suit..
His drawings of his stage design concepts...
the tiny coke spoon was funny...also had
some of his  original artwork..and many many framed photos/posters/
lyrics/drawings/writings/etc.
There was also a large layout of one of his record designs
that was collagey and neat.

early band fliers

His drawings when he was younger
He wanted his stage to look like this..
he drew panels of what he envisioned

Bowie's influences on his costumes/hair
