Dana, Wardito, and I played next as SHOVEL (as you see most pics splattered in this posting -hey we didnt have any pics of us yet so of course ya gotta snap away!-plus my mom reads this blog. hey mom! ) this was our second show so far so we just wanted to shovel shiz up with boogy grimey in yo face noise sweetness. BRINGING YOU THE SWEETNESS DAMMIT! *SHAKES FIST* hah love playin with those twos.
MAN HANDS followed and its my personal fav of jackie lous projects ....plus who doesnt like mr spastics drummins and marcus 's guitarin... ..just really rad poppin vibe that slithers with edge between each member. def good shiz. love its.
ACORN BCORN sister duo from Tucson are just all around badasses.. with rawkin riffs oozed in bluesy pulsating tones.. gorgeous vocals that claw away at the spines & hearts of all . i told a coworker of mine to check em outs that night whose never seen em..and he left a believer. ....Everytime i see them i just wanna bow down Wayne & Garth style and say "WERE NOT WORTHY WERE NOT WORTHY" and im sure they think im such a dork for wanting to do so..for they are very humbled, nice gals. love playing with them and cant wait to do so again hopefully in thee near future perhaps on their Tucsonian home turf!
the last two bands I dont have pics of unfortunately ..but Im sure you heard of their cunning.
BECK LEE & DRUNKFOOT all i can say is "she make the grown meeeeen cryyyyyyyy she make the grown men cryyyyyyy" haha her sultry voice and drunkfoot sounded great that night..... ....
Scorpion Vs. Tarantula always make the crowds swoon in fantastic ferociousness. Singer looked devine in her evil kneival jump suit.....TIM GUNN so woulda got a boner over it.
there were also snazzy record playins by the meglow and the jackie and her sista who showed up from the NYC! . guitar raffle was a lotta fun to do as well...ill post a pic of that too soon.
it was damn fun and giddy seeing fun (now im getting lazy here for cant i have another adjective besides "fun" jesus. i think i said that word 27 times. it must be this turrable dull tabatha salon bravo show playin in the background ) peeps..
(emily and erin made an appearance..woohoo..also saw the JRC which was pretty cool....and joe and his antics -joe wheres my pizza slice it better still be frozen waiting I say!.and lil sister showed up too. )
OK enough with all the sappy positive "blah blah blah girls can rock n roll weeeeeeee". now Im spent! thank you everybody and gnight!
